Can't really complain about these things. It is an Alpha build after all.

I'm using Koush's CM9 Alpha 11 Rom, and battery life is worse that of stock gingerbread.

Which Rom and Kernel? I'm thinking about flashing mine over on a day off...

I9000 port of ICS with working button mapping,gps,hw accel,rotation,and more - xda-developers
I tried flashing over another kernel - just got stuck at the boot sequence.
Stick with the kernel posted on the thread

GPS isn't working for me (but again... SGS gps = :fuckthatshit:), but everything else is perfect. for a beta, the amount of FCs are more than acceptable, I would say this is only a week or so off from stable release.
