This is one of those mods you do when you run out of mods to do.

LOL to the muffins.

My favorite part of the ad is that it retains the factory power window operation.

Riiiight. So I spend $350 for new, lightweight, gonna get scrated to shit glass but hook it up to my heavier than a big fucking turd power window assembly.

If I were to get serious enough about weight reduction where 5kgs, which apparently is going to make my car corner better:heckno:, then I think I'd be rolling the windows up and down manually, no?

$70/kg...I don't know, can I buy drugs for that?

Can't I shed 5kg off my ass easier than doing this?

GabAlmighty 11-22-2011 10:27 PM

If you're going this route you're not having windows that go up or down at all.

FerrariEnzo 11-22-2011 10:33 PM

the fine print actually says it retains oem power window function lol. so i guess these serve as a lightweight oem replacement.

I meant as in, you "shouldn't" be having windows that go up or down at this point. Should be maximum weight saving.

Anyone think they should just bake muffins without the crumbling bullshit inside the paper cup? You know, just bake the tops?

It "may" make a difference since the weight of the stock glass is higher up in the car. This will have some minor affect on the car's CG and affect it's handling.

But like what Energy said, this is a mod for people who have run out of mods to do on their cars.

I love Costco chocolate chunk muffin tops.

I'm halfway there because I hate the paper cups. Silicone muffin tray ftw!

there is actually a muffin tray you can buy that is shallow so you are essentially baking just muffin tops!
