Yeah its the same as MAX power. Its just a confusing way to get consumers to read the big 1200 watts on the box which is a little misleading. That Pioneer amp is ok but it doesn't seem that it puts out 600 watts RMS thats for sure.
If you buy it, please keep the remote bass knob plugged in (whether you are using it or not). Its just better that way with these amps.
