hope this isn't a repost but a friend sent this to me and i was like WTF

Fucked up, a 6 year old wouldn't know what sexual assault is. I agree with what the parents are saying the law should have an age limit on it. I'm not saying young kids should have free reign but they should have different ways of dealing with it. Charging a 6 year old with Sexual Assault for playing Doctor is dumb.

I would look at the parents and speak to the kid to find out what gave him these ideas to play doctor. A lot of times kids do that because of sexual abuse them selves. In a way the child could be the victim also.

Not familiar with US laws, but in Canada at a certain age (I believe under 12 years old), a child is considered too young for evil, and thus will not be charged. If this was in Canada and we went by what prosecutors use in approving charges, namely the likelihood of conviction and whether it was in the public interest, both would have failed the test.

my friend was reading more in to this and apparently D has suffered many health issues as a result of this, physical and psychological. he can't sleep properly, is under severe stress and many other things.
