i think they would have cameras and the detectors in place... the post in papers or somewhere with your picture.. then your fucked.. all for what, a $10 memory card.. lol

Infam0us 11-27-2011 08:52 AM

This is why I do my shopping online, I can find amazing deals while avoiding morons cutting lines and being trampled.
I'd rather sleep in rather than staying outside in the freezing cold a couple hours early for $10 memory cards...

If they were smart the stores should hire more security/cops, let people in slowly. Maybe have one or two staff to monitor the line to ensure people don't skip the line.

Unless someone is selling a half price...car...I'm not going to dive into that horde of insanity. I wouldn't even go if they had half price laptops. It's just not worth it.

$5 SD cards? That's just stupid. So you save $10 but you have to wake up early, line up, fight a billion people, line up to pay and wade through a crowd to leave? Fuck that shit. I'll just pay full price and be done in 10 minutes instead of wasting an ENTIRE DAY.

I always find it amusing when I'm working on Boxing Day and I get a handful of people COMPLAINING about how busy it is...Like what did you expect!? LOL

I guess it was worth it?

I see your point but in my opinion, some people like to go to seattle just to get away from the usual spots in Vancouver. There are plenty of products that are available in the states, which we do not have access to in Canada. I would never go to Seattle just for shopping and to save a couple bucks. My usual trips down to the states involve red lobster or black angus (which we do not have up here) or when your in the mood for a small road trip with some family or friends. But since we're here anyways, why not just buy somethings that we need.

You could make the same argument about people going to Point Roberts or Blaine to get gas. These people aren't necessarily cheap, instead enjoy going for a longer ride with the bonus to get gas for cheaper.

btw notice most of the videos being posted or watched involves people acting like retards. The people who choose to wait in line properly and follow protocol aren't to blame.

You do understand that you are making an assumption when you say "you're going down to Seattle for stuff to save money."

I head out to the States to shop for clothing several times a year, and it's certainly NOT to SAVE. I end up spending just as much as I would here. It's for the SELECTION. The American's have a bigger and better selection than we do for almost all of the stores I shop at. Not to mention, their return policies are more flexible than our Canadian ones.

I also fill up my gas tank before I come back home...for a CHEAPER price than I would've if I had filled my tank in Canada. I guess the "spend more money on gas" argument doesn't really work. If anything, there will be a difference of a few dollars which is hardly a cost at all to find better selection of sizes, variety in products and better choice of fast food restaurants while I'm down there!

Did I mention that the fat American's buy all the XXL's so the small sizes are always available down South whereas here, us Asians are always buying the smalls and mediums leaving nothing left for others to buy! :fullofwin:

I said it before and I'll say it again. The US is fucking disgusting.. I now fully understand what my father meant when he said it's a place not even fit for animals and the people them selves are far worse than that.

im surprised there isn't mass reports of pickpocketing

AzNightmare 11-29-2011 12:42 AM

hahah, this is motivation why I need to make more money.
So I can be all like this: :fuckthatshit:
during these big sale events. And buy things at a higher price, but in comfort and peace.

Saving money is one thing, but this is really not worth it, nor is the time I waste lining up in the cold.
