Trackpad/mouse problem
The trackpad/mouse on my MBP 13" is having a mind of its own

i took a short video of it acting weird, it happens randomly, sometimes it happens for awhile before it stops, sometimes it happens for a short time and stops.

I tried updating drivers for both the trackpad and mouse, tried unplugging the mouse and the problem still exists. The only solution i found was to disable the multi function keys which stops this weird behaviour immediately, but thats only just a temp fix and i dont want the functions disabled. anyone got any ideas?

its a 13" Alum MBP running win 7 32bit

Maybe bring it to the apple store?

Even if it's not under warranty, I'm sure they will take a look at it.

I had an issue with my MBP keyboard and the guys at the apple store fixed it for free

theres nothing touching the trackpad, its clear, i only have an invisible shield on it for the past say year or so and never had this problem

have you ever spilled anything on it? left it somewhere damp?
I left mine in my car overnight and it started doing it.

Took a hairdryer to the trackpad for a few minutes and it never happened again.

could be from wiping the surface of the macbook with a damp towel
i thought about water damage before and even disassembled the trackpad a few days ago but i did not see any moisture or water damage
