Spyware question

So I picked up a stupid spyware called System Fix. After spending a couple days, it appears I may have finally eliminated it using a combination of Rkill/Malwarebytes/Stopzilla/Unhide.

So far everything is running normally. No hidden processes running in the background sucking up resources, and nothing suspicious is showing up in Task Manager. Both malwarebytes and stopzilla scans are coming up clean. Rkill can't find anything either. So that's good news.

HOWEVER - when I look at the startup tab in msconfig, there is an entry still listed there and the box next to it is checked (c: \ programdata\randomcharacters.exe)

So does that mean the virus is still present and running?

Or does that mean it is still listed in the startup folder but doesn't necessarily mean it still exists. Right now I am afraid to do anything more because it seems like the computer is running perfect.

Thanks for any advice

Thanks. The computer is running trouble free at the moment. Just need to know if the fact the virus still listed and checked in my startup list under msconfig is cause for concern.
