black is standard, but I like wearing tan shoes with a black suit. My tan Cole haans look awesome with my dark blue suit. I'm sure black will work just fine.

freedman has a sale on dress shoes. Dont go aldo, shitty quality. Steve madden are alrite..... but the best shoes i"ve worn are cole haans

Black on black is kind of boring to me

Just stay classic and go with the standard nice dress shoes.

Make sure the dress shoe colour matches the belt colour.
