+1 for zippered pockets. However if I lost my phone I'd be happy - an excuse to buy a new one as I havent in over 5 yrs.

Richmond Center...took a break during christmas shopping ..sat in one of those cozy leather chairs only to find a wallet. called customer service/security but no answer... figured whoever it was, they would back track their steps... after about 20mins... sure enough, someone backtracked and i returned it to them. I think we all have good morals in each of us and know when to exercise them....or karma pretty much will strike us dead.

i just looked. iCloud has a "Find Your Phone" feature. turn that sucker on.

Yea, she called me a pedophile. That's a pretty big word for a 7 yr old.

I told him he just left it on the bench by itself and everyone was gone. He just out right accuses me of stealing it right away, says a bunch of crap in chinese and just takes his phone. I just walked away without saying anything.[/QUOTE]

What a nob. Why would you bring it back if you were stealing it.

danned 12-27-2011 06:21 AM

my parents dropped their wallet with $2000 dollars
a police officer phoned us, and told us that he got my parent's wallet

and the officer told us that a lady found the wallet and returned to the police immediately
wao, unbelieveable.....seriously, there are real good people out there

falcon 12-27-2011 08:22 AM

It's a sad time when we expect people to steal and are shocked when they don't. Go back 40-50 years and chances are nearly everyone would return something that was not theirs. Humanity has lost their moral compass over the last few decades. Unfortunate.

vanessabee24 12-27-2011 12:26 PM

that's great news! chances are usually people that find something (especially of that value) don't put any effort out to find the original owner unless they are approached.

Damn, that's good to hear man!

I found a phone once at a club. Tried calling a few contacts, no pick-up. Figured I'd try later.
When I was leaving the club and was already on the way home, the phone rings and I told them I'll return the phone in the morning. Crazy girl accused me of stealing it and I was like, "Whoa, I wouldn't have answered if I stole it. Just call me in the morning."
Sure enough, next morning, I get a call, we arrange to meet up. Now the girl on the phone is in love with me, saying how sweet and great I am. women :fuckthatshit:
Gave the phone back, she was greatful and offered a reward. I refused, didn't feel right and I don't do nice things to get $.

It was a shitty SonyEricsson W300 lol

back in high school i was biking with my wallet in my shorts. it fell out in front of 7-11 because that's when i jumped a curb and i'm pretty sure that's when it slipped out. the next day, i was called down to the principals office and an old lady gave me back my wallet. got her contact and gave her a box of chocolates the next day at her house.

Bought my first manual car and have no idea what to expect, so coworker referred her mechanic to me. Called him up to inspect the car (which I should've done before buying it). The mechanic took the car around the block with me, went through the whole car with me for about 2 hours and charged me a handshake at the end.

Was at 7/11/Petro Canada on 160th and Fraser buying a bag of ice.. Some guy was buying smokes and I'm pretty sure he bought the clerk some donuts since they were just sitting on the counter. Not sure if he actually did but I'll think of it that way :)

in about Aug, i lost my wallet(which had everything) around parker place, and i was so upset. started replacing everything 2 days after. about 3-4 days later someone rang the doorbell and when i opened it a asian fella in his 20's was at my door holding my wallet "is this yours?" i was so shocked. he said he found it on the ground in parker place and had to go to work so he couldnt return it right away, but on his day off he looked inside more closely to find my drivers license and looked for my address. he drove a white 05-06 STI with stock rims and bodykit. if you're on RS thanks man.

Chances are that she was drunk, confused and panicking considering where you just left.

Lost a phone on a skytrain. Someone found it and their sister called my home a few days later to inform me they had it. The phone and the content inside weren't special but it was nice of them to return it. Gave them $20 for good karma :)

Sandman 01-02-2012 09:47 PM

Just lost my iphone at cypress lol, man what a shitty feeling =(

underscore 01-02-2012 10:36 PM

does anyone else have that ICE contact in their phone, for if you're in an accident or your phone is lost? The couple phones I've returned never had one so I'd have to dig through previous calls or the address book to find someone who knew the owner.

s300ae 01-02-2012 10:41 PM

I'm sure it's not that hard to find the person they talk to the most.
They just had called my "home" number, which was nice of them, but I live alone so no one would have picked up anyways lol
The reason why I even have a land line was because it came free with shaw package.

I wiped out pretty good on December 10th at cypress on the ice pack.. Found out my skies were too tight as they didnt release as i went flipping over and over twisting my knee, hip and shoulder and i just layed there for a minute or 2 waiting for my friends to catch up, but 2 guys came down before they arrived and started picking up my gloves and the stuff i lost as they came towards me and asked if i was alright :).
