Swift R is supposed to have 180 HP, pretty fast for small car.

I saw the same article that OP posted on clubsx4 and noticed that everyone over there still don't believe that the Swift is coming to NA. Who knows? Suzuki is at a point in which they could breathe life back into the NA branch or just pull out over the next few years, for cars at least anyways.

Did you know that Suzuki spends the least amount of money on advertising among all the other automakers? It's ranked 85th, crazy.

The look for the JDM Swift is great, but overall price, build and ride quality aren't the best in its class. I prefer his wife's Mazda Demio or the last gen Honda Fit over that. Oh, the old 4spd auto tranmission sucks, hope they fix it in this gen.
ugh that is not good. i keep reading US car publications slamming small cars like the smart and the new fiat 500 about their poor performance, and they are not selling as well as hoped across the border... i guess suzuki being such a small company cannot absorb a poor sales hit if they end up in the same basket with the swift?

the black one is just perfect. even has the "R" logo from the gsxr.

but once again, i can't help but wonder how it drives in the real world, as opposed to reading about it...
