I think you need to decide what's more important, respecting your family's religious beliefs or doing what you really want to do

Before I moved out with my girlfriend, my mom (she is catholic) preferred I be married before moving out. I'm not religious at all, so we moved in together.

Have you considered getting a place of your own, that way you can live together most of the time but still respect your family's religious beliefs?

great post Gridlock. Never saw it thatway. but one thing I'm similar to you is i'm abl to turn it off and treat arlationship as if it was a business lost and drop it like a bad habit and fast.

Even better...I think I broke her life.

She has the same shitty cat, the same shitty job and lives in a shitty basement suite in shitty surrey.

And I shag her sister-in-law.

I don't like to look at relationships as winning or losing. But yeah, I won.
