are you fucking kidding me ? this... a fad ?

in that case, rusted hoods are not a fad either...they've been around since 1900's. Neither are bozo pipes...they were around since the 80's too.

I guess the best way I can put it in words is the guys who do it right are gonna always rock it, while the bandwagon jumpers who don't really know what they're doing, these guys are the ones that are gonna move onto something else. I'm good with that even if it means the haters come out in full force, it just means the fadriders are gone and only the og's are left...

This is a win win for hellaflush haters and lovers, gotdang why am I just realizing this now, lol, cuz what you'really hatin on is guys like in this first set of pics, but you cant hate when it's done right as evident in the second set of pics, cuz that shit is hellaflush AND hellafunctional and that's what doing it right looks like :fuckyea:

^ that's perfect for a Porsche, looks within factory specs too... any more wheel poke and you would have to add more camber, and all that unnecessary for a performance car like the Porsche if you're using it for street driving only

you got the right wheel and tire specs on your ride, looks sick...
what tires you running, hard to tell in the dark but they look like some badass R compounds

Why am I getting so many fails? Are my cars not flush enough :(

Muskys SS 01-10-2012 09:41 PM

Here are some pics I just took test fitting my new wheels. 11.5"x18" rear and 10"x18" front. Definately not going to ride this low, I just wanted to make sure there was no rubbing.

Thanks!
The tires are Toyo R888 factory size 235/305 with 7mm front and 15mm rear spacers. The car has -2.2 of camber in the front and -2.5 in the rear and lowered about an inch. mainly set up with cornering performance in mind.

Agreed, everyone might love something different about the cars and there's not necessarily a right or wrong. I don't like dropping my miata to a height that would tuck my 195/50/15 tires running -4 (and up) degrees of camber and beating the shit out of the undercarriage because for me I just love the way it handles with a proper alignment and it also breaks my heart to do something that hurts my car that I can easily avoid. And simply put, if you're trying to call yourself a car enthusiast but can't tolerate someone else's way of doing things, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

Honestly there are things you can do to your car that aren't right in any respect but 90% of the time you should be able to respect your fellow man and his way of personalizing his car even if it's not to your preference

Spoiler!

Noob question: his suspension goes up and down at an angle because of a camber kit? or some other modification?

First, you gotta have independent rear suspension. And his "suspension" isn't at an angle persay, it's just that the tire has negative camber that's why it looks that way. So yes, a "camber kit" (ie. camber plates allowing for adjustment) was required.

I didn't watch the video but i'm assuming that's what you were wondering?

G-spec 01-11-2012 05:51 PM

lookin sexy Jordan, what suspension you running?

TRdood the wheel on the Porsche would tuck in like that even without a camber kit, it's just the natural motion of suspension travel. Your stock car's wheels do the exact same thing, but offcourse yes pretty much anybody upgrading their ride height has adjustable camber kits
