This brings back memories. Literally one of the worse things in my childhood, losing McPizza.
On a side note, has anyone ever been laughed at for mentioning McPizza?
My girlfriend is 3 years younger than I, and her and her friends will not believe me that McDonalds used to have pizza. Which blows my mind since they're not young enough to have missed the period when McDicks had pizza

Yes!

My gf is also three years younger than me and refuses to believe McD's ever had pizza.

I think it's right in your hood. I saw it last year when I was working in the inlet, just by Willingdon. Last I heard, someone was trying to turn it into a floating nightclub.:suspicious:

:lol all the people saying this thread allows the members to reminisce about the glorious days of the pizza

While that may be true, what most members feel is quite the contrary. They are forced to bring back their repressed childhood memories, be utterly disappointed and are now in deep sorrow and anguish from learning that everything is a lie.

MG1 01-17-2012 09:23 PM

If only I could remember the pizza.............. seriously. AYCE???? I'll have to ask one of my kids.

spoon.ek9 01-17-2012 09:40 PM

yeah, i don't remember seeing AYCE pizza at mcd's. i remember the pizzas themselves very clearly though...

i had a supervisor at mcd's who hated the pizzas cuz he always burnt his hands on the oven :lol

StylinRed 01-17-2012 09:42 PM

I loved Expo86. Found my stamp "passport" while going through some boxes in storage the other week. I miss McBarge.

But as for the pizza... damn, I want some now. I think the only thing that comes close to the greasiness and how subpar (yet strangely addicting) it was, is 711's pizza. lol. Had so many free pizza's from McDonalds. All you had to do was walk up to the counter, say you had ordered a pizza 20 minutes ago and still hadn't gotten it. :lol.

Not really racist! 01-17-2012 09:58 PM

Why doesn't anybody understand that the Big Xtra still exists... just not quite the same, (no longer special seasoning, patty) but you can always grill it to your own liking

x2

It's actually on the menu at most Express locations. The bigger stores will do it as well, provided you're not being served by someone who's 15 and has never heard of it before...
