I planned to keep this car for a long time and put a ton of money into building it but I just bought a house and I could really use the money towards that. There are a few issues with the car that I was going to solve over the winter but I don't have time, hence the low price. Here is the bad:
-Needs one stainless steel brake line, it started leaking so I just put the stock one back on and haven't had time to replace it
-While it was sitting during the engine rebuild the fuel gauge stopped working. The low fuel light still comes on but the gauge is stuck on full.
-I had the transmission rebuilt by Specialty Z at the same time the engine was done (this last summer) but the transmission is making some gear noise. It shifts perfectly but is noisy. I have an email from Greg at specialty z explaining the noise that I will forward to anyone that is interested and they may end up sending me a replacement but the car will be sold as is. The noise shouldn't effect driveability or the transmission in any way.
-The car isn't currently aircared. It was aircared before but it expired. I don't have cats for the car so you will need to take it to either the Z shop or monkey nutz racing to get them to put cats on it and take it through aircare, or borrow a set from another 300zx owner. I know a couple people that have them so I can pass on their info to the buyer.
I just did a compression test and all cylinders are between 155-160. The car runs very strong and will be very fast once the break in is complete and the boost is turned up.
I have a ton of money into building this car and it is priced to reflect the few small issues listed above already, so I am ABSOLUTELY FIRM on 8500. Please don't bother offering me any less because I won't take it. Also, the car is currently uninsured so no test drives will be given unless you pay for a day pass with collision. Inspections by a reputable shop welcome at your cost of course. Email me or call/text Mark at 778 241 8656
