How many of you love your 'ride' so much that... ...you would dish out over $100 to find its miniaturized diecast twin? .....I love the 3G TL..having owned 3 of them so far with this ASM being my favorite...and yah, the diecast motivated me in finding a matching 'lifesize' version lol. http://i44.tinypic.com/343roe1.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/rw74tv.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/106dmjd.jpg |

if i cud customize it the same way as my car, same kit, same wheels, same everything, id dishout alot of money. its pretty easy to find one identical, if your cars stock ;) |
I never see any for DAs, but if I did, I would buy it. |
Not quite a "twin" when the taillights are so off... that'd annoy me if it was supposed to be a true twin lol |
$100, it better be an AUTOart diecast. Customizing a model car is so easy. |
I bought the model car first, then bought the real thing as well. ;) |
i never did find a 1998 Nissan 240sx model........i looked even in taiwan when i went back oh well, i sold my 240sx a year ago anyways got a 2005 acura tl just today. maybe ill look for a model on ebay too haha |
Yup i would do it, would be awesome for car shows |
I used to have a 1/10 scale model of my car, until my friends stole it. Fuckers. :) Yet I certainly didn't spend $100 on it, more like $40. |

Used to have a scale model as a kid, got it as a christmas present (It was the current model when I was a kid). Some fatass cousin came over and stepped on it because he thought it would be funny and the wheels broke off  About 8 years later though I bought the real thing, in a newer model... so  |

TL #1: 2008 Silver non navi (leased) but no navi. got rid of it after 2 months because i wanted Navi! TL #2: 2008 white navi (lease takeover). had Navi. SWEET color but after a year, i transferred the lease to a friend because another friend offered to sell me his 07 TL Navi in carbon grey pearl for super cheap..so instead of leasing, i purchased the 07. TL # 3: 2007 Carbon Grey navi (purchased). This was my fave..BUT i made the foolish mistake of trading it in towards an 08 RDX Tech. This was a disastrous trade and i will admit it. NEVER AGAIN! TL # 4: 2008 silver (purchased). Traded in the above 08 RDX tech for this certified TL. I will be holding onto this for a min of 5yrs before exploring hybrid options next time around. I cannot seem to adapt to the 09+ styling of the 4th gen TL... it still looks as hideous as ever... plus the 3G is still one of the best looking sedans on the roads today even though the design dates back to 04. I'm not an aggressive driver so my commute from downtown Vancouver through rush hour traffic back into North Delta averages 8.5 ~ 9.0 L/100km and i would think that is terrific fuel economy for a very reliable 3.2 V6. I did make an offer on a 08 TypeS but the dealership would not accept so I went for the base instead. I opted for smooth suspension over sport because I commute everyday for 1.5hours. http://i44.tinypic.com/v7qliv.jpg |
^ I love my car too :D but wow 8L/100KM... I'm lucky if i hit 11.... (I hover around 12) |
