At the end of the story they have a macro breakdown and surprisingly she gets enough vitamin C (maybe from the dipping sauces?) by eating her current diet. (Vitamin C levels are a pretty 'hot' topic in terms of the recommended dosage. It varies a lot, but by some standards, she receives enough vitamin C).
