mail package back to China concern....

I know this might be a really stupid question...

If i'm mailing a package back to China and write the address in Chinese character...will it go through?

I do not have the English translation of the address and its my first time trying to mail something back to China with chinese address only.

Fedex / UPS / Canada post?

Thanks guys!

all canada needs to know is that its going to China and maybe the province i think (when we mail items to china thats all that seems to be required by canada post / dhl)

once it lands there its in the hands of chinese readers and they'll probably be like if all you wrote was english :P

I would double check with Canada post before you mail anything. I'm sure they'll know.

I think all of the roads in china use the pinyin of the chinese word as the "english" name.

I would write both English and Chinese.
the English literacy rate in China is absolutely horrid, not to mention that a given pinyin can translate into like 5-10 different words.

Or if you are a risk taker, you could go hybrid. Write the address in Chinese, except for the country.
