RS Lagging hard
 

I don't think it's just me as the chat as well as the boards are lagging pretty bad. Any information on this? I can click a thread and it will take 2-3 minutes to open, if they even open at all.

Works fine for me, try resetting your modem

lots of people having the problem. messages arnt showing in rs chat, lag etc. hamster die? :(

+1 its not all the time but random and when it happens it stays for a while

Nevertheless, loading pages are fine... rs chat is just the problem for me

Tried that just now, i still have to enter messages and press enter multiple times before my message will show up on chat. Links still take a while to open, and it's just on revscene. I can open youtube,facebook,etc no problem.

Laggy as F right now takes forever to get around the forum...
RS chat is laggy aswell, has "refreshing messages" constantly, have to manually refresh the browser.
Its not only myself, tried deleting cookies and cache.

Can you guys paste some traceroutes?

I'm running on campus internet but I'm fine for some reason lol

For those of you that have problems
please indicate, where the problem occurs, if its just this site, if its just certain page etc

with out that information we can't do anything

Anyone who wants to know how to Traceroute from Windows can do the following:

Hold the Windows key (between the CTRL & ALT keys on the left side of the keyboard) and press R
Inside the RUN box type: CMD
Hit enter, then type the following: tracert www.revscene.net

I think our caching provider is having network issues, I'll disable it for now

What I've observed is that some of the ads will take a while to load, and it won't completely load the page until the ads are done loading.

At the bottom left of chrome, it will say waiting for plusone.google.com or some random stuff, which I assume are the ads?

No, that's the Google+ button

Yes it is ready to go but I need to access a mac to finish it

The only problem I can remember right now is for RS chat. Sometimes I would type a message and it would take forever for the message to appear before I even press enter. Just to be the clear, this lag occurs in the typing of the message. Then it lags a bit as well when I enter the message.

So is it working better now or what?
