Maybe the RS legal team can chime in on this one.
I understood that if someone is caught 40kph over, they were getting the ticket and towed.

OP: You're a dumbass.
I hope they call your boss. I hope he/she/they fire you.
I hope you lose the ticket and get the bigger one for being STUPID enough to dispute it.
I hope you lose your license over it.
And I hope you try to half-ass explain yourself AGAIN on this forum after.
OH BTW, if you took the car out WITHOUT your employer's permission (which sounds like you did), the company can sue you for defamatory reasons if there are company logos on it and you were driving like a douche. Or charge you with theft of an automobile, given that you technically STOLE it.
Have fun =)

but I agree with the others if someone is to take out a company vehicle they should drive it in a proper justified manner, especially since it is not their own. If they fuck around then they should be prepared to pay for the consequences, no need to dispute it when one is clearly guilty...

They won't call your boss. I used to work at acura and secretly took cars out at night. Got a ticket once for no n sign and too many passengers and I disputed it as well. They didn't find out. Posted via RS Mobile |

Posted via RS Mobile | FYI - If in an accident, the insurance and be nulled and void if the dealer did not give permission, considering you were the employee.
All damages then can be liable to you, the driver at the time when the dealer decides to take you to court for them and also to charge you with theft of an automobile.
BTW, if you're who I think you are, you shouldn't be bragging about it here.
Lots of people are looking for you. =)

There's the strong possibility that he was speeding but the officer was missing some elements to prevent him for issuing the ticket. No tracking history, just got there and had not tested the radar/laser yet, unable to get a distance on the vehicle, some officers like to get 2 laser readings before stopping a car. There's lots of possibilities | And second, when the impound law first came in, it was stated over and over AND OVER that cops were being instructed NOT to tow unless the person was doing 50 over, specifically to avoid "accidentally" towing someone who was "only" doing 39 over... maybe you've forgotten, but you made quite the issue out of it at the time.
