^ you can only spend Max: 30 hrs in single player with the story line.
I doubt anyone would play FC3 MP/COOP for 7 days straight

that 10min trailer made the game look very engrossing/in depth/time consuming
will give it a shot then
thought it was going to be like a min 100hr game and maybe never ending

It is engrossing, but WoW is known more for being a perpetual time suck. This is just a really good game that you can get hooked into for hours at a time. Then when you're done, you're done.

enthusiast-level DX10 card should yield better results than consoles
depending your res I assume you can probably run medium at decent frames

Yup considering that games are being designed to run on hardware that is 7+ years old (and already outdated at the time) you don't need much to run today's games.
If you can run a game higher than 1280x720 (or in some cases lower) with the lowest settings, getting more than 20-30 FPS, you are already way ahead of XBOX 360 and PS3 in terms of quality.
Here's a quick setup that will play any game at 720p with medium to high settings (some will run at 1080p easily), and costs less than a PS3 or XBOX 360
CPU: AMD A6-5400K 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor ($69.98 @ Outlet PC)
Motherboard: MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($16.99 @ Newegg)

I picked it up yesterday and it is pretty good. Not that different than the 2nd one but that was a good game imo.
Where are the boars!!!!??? I need a bigger ammo pouch!

So, got the game. To my surprise, it works and runs smoothly. A mixture of medium and high settings too. Guess I don't have to upgrade yet. 
Good game so far... the story captures and keeps my attention way better than farcry 1 and 2.

This is definitely interesting. I was sneaking around in the grass about to make a knife kill when a bunch of rabid dogs starts chasing me. This alerted the guards and started to shoot at me, in the midst of running away I get bitten by a snake and finally getting killed by running into a group of pheasants.
Restart game, get chased by komodo dragon, jumped into the water, get mauled by shark.
This is definitely no FC2 lol, wildlife is a bigger threat than the enemy.
