Humans should start eating more insects. Cheap protein for the masses. It's just a mental thing in the western world. Lots of places eat insects. Posted via RS Mobile |

I actually WANT to try insects ... I've heard grasshoppers an' such are pretty good, like corn chips, cheap and full of nutrients! ... just gotta make sure where the SOURCE of them is from ... don't want dirty ass bugs that have been crawling in shit all their life before they are cooked! :heckno: |
:heckno: Cicadas, water beetles, and other Bugs were the only things I couldn't get past my head when it came to the table. I had to leave the table when they served it. I fucking HATE bugs. I probably would've eaten them if they didn't just look like bugs, covered in garlic and soy sauce/deep fried versions of themselves. And the fact that we were eating at night, and all you could hear were Cicadas and Crickets. I'll never unhear the crunch. http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/...2/template.jpg |

Here's a great talk about eating insects. (worth your time) |
Personally I would never eat dog, nor want to try it. That being said though ive been a dog owner / lover my whole life.. To me dog is mans best friend, not dinner. That's just my 2 cents and wanted to chime in on this thread, lol. No Poodles in my noodles ! :fuckthatshit: |
If your not eating bison meat your missing out |
I don't mind those that choose not to personally eat dogs or cats because of seeing them as companions or whatever. That's personal opinion. But I won't understand being judgemental on those that choose to eat them. Only reason one should be against eating dogs and cats is because they are a vegetarian, or a hypocrite. |
Those that preach to others that dogs are not food is like muslims (?) telling u to not eat beef Posted via RS Mobile |
After reading this, I brought it up with my roommate. Found out he's the type that thinks it's super weird, but as long as it's not around him, he doesn't care if people eat it. I, on the other hand, would be willing to try it if I were in one of the countries that eats it regularly. The fact that I had a dog doesn't really phase me about it. Also, we were both wondering how much, if at all, it differs in taste or texture with breed. Posted via RS Mobile |
