Christopher Vang Memorial Fund

Please help support! In honor of my Brother we have created a memorial fund to raise awareness of water safety

Christopher Vang Memorial Fund | The Official Website for the Christopher Vang Memorial Fund

About the Christopher Vang Memorial Fund

At the Christopher Vang Memorial Fund, our goal is to raise awareness towards river safety. Too many lives have been claimed by the tumultuous Fraser River. As it currently stands, there are not any enforcements or laws with regards to the usage of life preservers on a river. We are hoping to raise enough money to set up a legacy/memorial fund where Chris’ lifelong passion for vehicles and helping others will be preserved forever. All funds raised will be re-invested through another foundation so that disbursements can be given to raise awareness for river safety, support, and scholarships/grants. Although Chrstopher Vang gave up his life helping others, he will live on forever by continuing to give back to those who may not be as fortunate.

Together, we can draw awareness to the perils of a river – like the Fraser River – by putting together funds as well as manpower to lobby legislators to change our river bylaws.

Proceeds from the Christopher Vang Memorial Fund will go towards the victim’s families and a campaign to toughen our river safety bylaws.

Even though we have lost Christopher in our physical lives, he may still be invariably present.

Help us make this a possibility, so that we can give someone the chance that Chris never had.
