^ CBSY1105

It's like learning how to use microsoft word and basic excel functions... I got an A+.

Guess you have to be somewhat computer literate, it's really nothing beyond what you would have needed to be capable of in high school as it's mostly formatting and basic functions (sum, if, vlookups)

The Summer 2013 CBSY 1105 sections are ALL full with LONG (you're basically not getting into the class, unless everyone currently in it drops) wait lists, heads up.

does anyone else feel that it is useless to study for a final 24 hours before? People that take notes and start highlighting their books before finals makes me

Not at all, it's potentially very useful. The additional theory you review will be fresh in your memory during the exam.

I do, however, think its useless to attempt to learn an entire semesters worth of material 24 hours before an exam; which is precisely what many people do early in their undergraduate career.

actually find it better for myself if i review 24hrs before hand. maybe 5-8hours the day before, not all in a row maybe 2hrs at a time followed by a break. wake up the next morning, quick review, do crap for the day, head to class 20min early and do another quick review. studying well in advance does nothing for me.

Yea, it's not useless to skim through what you know before the exam, but if you're learning new material it is pointless

I got an A in ENG1100 It wasn't even that hard TBH. If anyone needs to take it, I suggest you to take it with Kim Larsen. It's pretty basic stuff..
