For any cruise aficionados here, it's just been announced that the nearly-new (2 years old) Celebrity Solstice will be sailing Alaska in 2013!
This is exciting and significant for several reasons, first being that it will be far and away the biggest cruise ship to ever sail Alaska. Secondly just the features and amenities of the ship are cutting edge in the industry, including a 'molecular gastronomy' restaurant.
Due to the size of the ship, it will most likely depart from Seattle rather than Vancouver, unfortunately.
