ya!,

I dont remember you, I also had a massive headache last night, I couldnt even focus on what Kramer was sayin.

white guy? asian guy? Iran guy?

I guess il talk to you tonight anyway,

What bike are you looking to buy?

gdoh 06-26-2012 08:41 AM

white guy with a tattoo on his right arm

im looking at a cbr 600rr, r6, gsxr 600 and last choice is zx6r all of them 2003 or better you?

i was laughing to myself when he put the pic of the casket up there and had the first world problem meme in there lol

Glove 06-26-2012 02:46 PM

YES!

I wanted to mention it so bad, but I wasnt sure if anyone else was going to get it.

hahahahaa,

I want a cbr250r, nothing else.

my works pays for my mileage, and I want the most fuel efficient vehicle I can get, which is the cbr250r, 80mpg.

so work would pretty much pay for my bike over the long haul.

Raid3n 06-26-2012 03:41 PM

what about the ninja 250r? i've ridden my friend's 2010 and it's not a bad bike.

Glove 06-26-2012 04:01 PM

ninja250r = carb + no abs = gay + 50mpg

cbr250r = fuel injected + abs = win

Ahaha! I like your math :P
Are you getting a new one or used?

Glove 06-26-2012 04:28 PM

probably get a used one,

dealer fee's are insane,

they say 4100 on the website, you end up paying 6 grand after taxes and fee's.

makes no sense

alicelc 06-26-2012 04:41 PM

Agreed. VERY insane. Is it $4100 for ABS model?
I was looking at SV650 but I don't really want to pay $7799 for a new one but it's probably over my budget.

There are a few CBR250s for sale right now, good luck with your purchase :)

Finally registered for July 9th Weekday A :D

RabidRat 06-27-2012 02:13 PM

Haha make sure you get frame sliders if you're going brand new with your first bike =)

Hey Alice, work gave me a laptop so now I have a computer! Yay!

alicelc 06-27-2012 02:23 PM

Oh LUCKY! Is it a good computer? At least a decent one?

I'm working out my budget right now ... may have to wait a few months before I have enough to pay for an expensive, shiny, new bike. I can't wait to graduate and get a full-time job to earn a little more money.

Haha yeah it's a beast of a workstation.

Is this your undergrad? Do co-op, it usually pays really well.

Haha. Awesome :) Now you won't have to resort to your smartphone.

Yea, undergrad but it's my last semester. No more co-op for me.

I'm going to register for July 9th weekday class.

Do you have a bike already?

oh man its so much fun! the classroom parts were interesting but went on the bike today and its just awesome how much you learn
chris ambrose and kramer know what they're talking about and just make the lessons a great experience

i don't have a bike yet, figured i'd take the course first to get a good idea of what i want since i've never ridden before

look forward to july 9th, its epic

Great to hear you're enjoying the course. Got my verification document and all that so it's all set. July 9th, hurry on over :P

Ah, wise choice. I'm bored so I spend my time looking at bikes on craigslist and dealerships' inventories. I need a life :okay:

Oh, by the way. Are you all planning on taking the road test right after the course? Last year, Vanessa at PRS told me that if they get at least 3 students booked for a Monday road test, ICBC will assign the group a tester :D

peazs 06-27-2012 09:58 PM

Ah! I'm debating Night School A or B. For A I have a conflict with my last day so would need to push that back 2 more weeks. B should be no issues, but just consecutive days and a long long Saturday. :p

gdoh 06-27-2012 10:12 PM

Sorry I actually started on monday lol and im in the lot riding this saturday :awwyeah:

PiuYi 06-28-2012 12:01 AM

i'd like to do roadtest right after the course... while everything's still fresh in your head haha but depends when i have to work
ideal would be next wednesday since my last ride is tuesday

a group test sounds easier... never heard of such a thing though or anybody doing that

alicelc 06-28-2012 12:09 AM

Ah yea, I'd prefer to take the road test right after the course. Who knows, maybe RIGHT after the last road ride at PRS ...

I'm not sure if it's a "group test" though. I'm guessing it's one examiner bringing one rider out at a time. If the examiner is observing three riders,
he/she might miss a mistake or something but I agree that group tests sound easier :P

bcrdukes 06-28-2012 12:30 AM

It is not a group test. You are always tested on an individual basis.

gdoh 06-28-2012 10:55 AM

the bikes ive had my eyes on are slowly disappearing :okay:

Glove 06-28-2012 12:48 PM

^ not me!

no one wants a 250,

:fuckyea:

bcrdukes 06-28-2012 01:35 PM

I rode my bike last night.

I sometimes wish I had a 250cc. So much more comfortable and maneuverable in the city than my beast of a bike. :fuckthatshit:

Same here :okay: I'm looking at a 1993 Honda CBR600 f2 from 2nd gear motorsport but the 'engine swap' is worrying me. Sold my scooter! Boo ya:fullofwin:
