Called them a few days ago, $25 discount if you just reference revscene. Additional $25 if you sign up with two other people. Anyone else interested? Looking to sign up within the week. Sick of staring at my bike in the garage haha

Hey Recon604, talk to the guys at PRS before you actually buy the R6.
What year are you looking at?

? i already bought it lool. its mint, got a friend to check it out for me. It runs great and was taken well care of. Plus it was ridden by a girl, so you know it was babied.

Im still looking to book on the week of April 21st. PM me

Oscar_Binswood 04-01-2014 04:46 PM

I just finished the theory classes with them today. Heading into the parking lot in a few weeks due to my work schedule.

Recon604, I know what racerman88 means when he says talk to the guys at PRS before buying a bike. They get very specific into finding the right bike. Engine size, power to weight ratio, height, your weight/height, seating position, purpose, etc.

I purchased a bike about a month ago as well prior to starting the class. A part of me wishes I waited as I would've scaled back my initial purchase on a 600cc.

Nonetheless, it'll just make you more aware of what type of power you're playing with.

Good luck!

I can't believe that you guys bought bikes before licenses. That's pro-active in getting out there. PRS is great. You guys will have a great fun time

gonna be taking the course this month, but a question running thru my mind constantly is : how much does this course really teach you VS buying a 250 and learning on it.

reason I ask is because I have a few friends that are now on their 600s and started off with a 250. and they seem to be riding fine.

800 dollar course isnt exactly cheap if I can buy a 250 and learn the exact same thing and then re-selling the 250 for pretty much the same price I got it for, BUT if this 800 dollar course will save my life then obvs the 800 dollar is well spent.

Trust me, this course is not about learning how to ride, it's a very very small part of the course. Let's be honest who can't figure out how to ride a motorcycle, it's not rocket science.

This teaches you how to ride safely and protect yourself from other drivers.

This course has taught me how to become a smarter person on the road as a driver or a rider.

If today the course was $2000 and I needed to go again, I would pay it in a heartbeat.

You are investing in something that will change your life as a rider and perhaps save it.

zilley 04-02-2014 10:28 PM

thats all I needed to hear, thanks bud.

hi!

As a past PRS graduate (years ago), things i learned will not be forgotten, countless times i have encounter "close" calls but having the knowledge i learned from PRS i live to ride another day. $800 is a small investment.. you will understand once you take lessons from PRS.

clutcccchhhhhhhhhh and brakkkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeeee!!!!:joy:

Supersport 04-03-2014 06:19 PM

As a student if Dat's when he was an instructor at Action, he's taught me a lot of precautionary safety lessons that will save u from getting into accidents. The course is more of an investment on your life
