+1 on this, tried them on at marks and they were even more comfortable than the Dakota 557 I currently have which I thought were already really comfy.

Buy 25 dollar gift card and get 6 inch sandwich for free.

Limited time offer, so hurry.

Cora's has their, 'buy 25 dollar gift card and get 10 dollar promo card' on right now.

White Spot has their buy 50 get 10 on as well. White Spot I would use more often. Cora's, not so much. Anyway.............

Canadian Tire this coming Saturday has their 20X points event. 30X if you have their Options Mastercard. I might actually get one, because of their no interest, no fee, program for purchases over 200 bucks. Need winter tires? Spread it over time with no interest. Sounds good to me. I'm not sure if it's 12 months or more........... anyway. I pay my cards off all the time. I feel for those who can't and have to pay like 19.99% in interest.

Thank god CT Money is now electronic. Although, they still have the paper variety.

It's a pretty handy card, got quite the few free Eliminator batteries with it over the years.

For paper CT money, just stuff into the donation box beside the door if you get it, I find it takes up too much space and doesn't add up to much.

The eagle has landed...............

McD’s get a Big Mac or Egg McMuffin for free when you get $25.00 gift card deal is back. I remember when it was for a minimum 10 dollar amount a few years back. Old Asian ladies were buying like 30 at a time, gulolol.

What kind of work do you do? Personally the only steel toes i'd buy from Marks ever again are the Dunlop rubber boots, some of, if not the best boots i've ever worn, but a lot of people dont need the full time rubber boots.

I find almost everything else Marks sells is garb, some of their Timberland stuff is OK but they dont carry a lot of the nicer/better models.

For me now it's Red wings or nothing, my current red wing steel toes which are kind of a blundstone style slip on slip off were like $270, but worth every penny imo.

They are more comfortable as a steel toe and fit better off the shelf than my $600 custom made Dayton boots.

I don't have the slip on slip off, but Red Wings 2412/2414 are definitely great for the money. Plus resoling for vibrams is 100 or authethic soles for 145 at a cobbler.

I've heard great things about Blundstones too.

Those napkins are great for wiping up oil and fat residue (from hamburgers or bacon)

Thanks, it must be another region.

Mark’s 20% off store wide sale. Started yesterday and ends tomorrow perfect timing to use the promo card. All Denver Hayes jeans 40% off, then take additional 20% off. I even used my $20.00 promo card that expires on the 24th. Jeans for less than $8.00, gulolol.

Like Craftsman Collision ads. Never mind my son receiving the Nobel prize or becoming the newly appointed CEO of a large corporation, I’m happy I got a smokin’ hot deal.

MG1 12-21-2017 02:16 AM

Big Mac, McChicken, or McMuffin for $1.50 +taxes. Just use their app. Offer looks like it is a one time offer. Offer expires 12/31/17.

Other offers........

50% off Fillet O' Fish
BOGO Breakfast Sandwich
BOGO Hot McCafé Beverage
$1.00 off any purchase of $8.00 or more

these ones expire in three days.

I should check my app more often, gulolol.

Do not buy 99cents Christmas gift wrap from Walmart
I pick up couple thinking why buy from dollar stores at $1.25..
WRONG!
this is worst than dollar store, wrap is thinner than newspaper, it's almost like tissue.
It kept tearing when I was wrapping so half the roll end up in recycle bin.
worst part is, because it's so thin, you can almost see through and know what the gift is without even unwrapping it.

p.s. do not buy from dollar stores neither, their roll is so short it's only good for one med-large gift.

Why don't you just use newspaper instead? (Lots of free Metro, 24, flyers, etc). That's the spirit of being frugal! And you're recycling!

i DON'T even bother with wrapping gifts anymore. Usually I just tape the bags they put the items in and call it a day.

lilaznviper 12-22-2017 09:21 AM

^ i just order from amazon and then tape on a card to the box
