Went to the JP chrys after work.... got the card thing done in 10 mins, told the guy I just wanted the code...lingered around n looked at a small suv (compass) then took off lol...talked to the sales guy about hockey the whole time instead of their shitty dodge products.

Worth the hassle for sure.... $50 earned tax free for gas in 10 mins? lol

The salesman sounded a bit confused about the promo tho, he said they were giving away 2,500 gas cards and when you do the test drive you're are entered in a draw for a $50 card... but the website clearly shows CLAIM YOUR CARD NOW......hope he's dead wrong.

Holy shit, just got rejected at Coquitlam Chrysler. The guy was such a douchebag, I went in and told him about the appointment I made today and hes like ??? you're suppose to schedule an appointment for this weekend, I told him that the rep from your dealership called me to book for today. He goes off for 10 minutes and comes back, he asks me when I'm gonna be purchasing a new car, I said within 12 months. Hes like what cars are you looking at?

So I told him, I looked at a few BMW's and Lexus's he goes "than what are you doing here? go buy your BMW/Lexus" I was shocked at his customer service, like WTF? lol

He starts telling me that he has to do a 2 hour presentation + test drive and tell me everything I need to know about the 300C and if I wasn't going to be purchasing a car from his dealership to get lost(literally) I'm like I never said I wasn't, you asked me what cars I was looking at prior. He just shook his head and continued his ramblings about how he's not going to do the presentation + test drive since hes going to get nothing out of it. He didn't even try to convince me to purchase one of their cars and instead told me off.

I told him, I'm fine with checking out the new 300C, maybe it'll get me interested and have 2 hours to check the car out, maybe it'll change my mind. Than went on about how he has a lot of shit to do and won't give me the test-drive. And won't give me the $50 GC cause it's only for potential Chrysler Customers only.

Can't wait to fire this email off to their CS department.

I went to Destination Chrysler Jeep Dodge in North Vancouver and met up with a sales rep without an appointment. He greeted me and I showed the email indicating what I was there for. He then quickly asked me which car that I would like to test drive and off we went into the Challenger (I was hoping for a 300 but they don't have one on site). He was very knowledgeable and told me a lot of things about it. After the test drive, he told me he had hoped that he had convinced me into purchasing a domestic car in the near future and gave me their code.

Overall experience, I rate it a 9.

If you guys/girls want to go do this without any hassle, I recommend this place and ask for Des

Cheers

very nice guy. had a nice chat with him and took out the challenger r/t.
when he asked if i was considering i said i was in the market for a new car but one that is better on gas, and i just wanted to take the challenger for a spin. he was more than cool with it.
really didnt pressure me whatsoever.
if i knew someone who was looking for a chrysler/dodge, i would direct them to frank.
i was in and out in about 40m. 10m getting things set up, 20m drive, and a bit of a chat after.

Yea this is the guy i dealt with, let me run grand cherokee SRT8 for 2 laps:fuckyea:

Edit: No appointment needed

Hit up carter chrysler with the gf just now. Was a short drive in the fiat 500, but we checked out the gucci and convertibles in the showroom. Not bad for paying us $50 each. Sales guy Mike was awesome, super friendly talked about all sorts of car shit and buying used vs new etc

I'm sure a formal complaint would get you the card too.

Im glad the dealership I went to was relaxed about it.

I signed up for Coq one and got an email from some guy named Jason. I realized the event is only until Friday so I can't go due to work. From the email he sent though, he seems like some pushy sales guy.

TRDood 03-07-2012 10:53 PM

Marine Chryler. Tested out the Fiat Gucci. Hassle free and overall good experience. It appears the dealer code is unique? Can I just post up the code for people who are lazy? :troll:

I didn't end up taking any car out :lol. When I came in, the sales guy already knew that I wasn't going to purchase a vehicle for atleast a year because we talked on the phone to book the appt. We just talked for about 10 mins about the vehicles that they had and then he gave me the code. :fuckyea:
