Data recovery places in Vancouver

I need some help. I have a western digital 1.5tb hd, I bought it to save photos and videos. It's usually leave it plugged into my computer.. Tried to access it today and got an error. "you need to format the disk in drive k: before you can use it." anyone here know if it still possible to recover these files. About 1tb of family pictures and videos.

Does anyone here know where I can take it to recover files? Any help would be appreciated

Give this software a shot Free Data Recovery Software to free recover deleted files and recover formatted or corrupt hard drives - EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition.

Hopefully you have isolated the hard drive and haven't writing (i.e. working) on it

My workplace recommends 1stdatarecovery.com. They are local. I have sent 4 or so people there so far and they were all successful.

You can run data recovery software if you want, but every time you access you drive, you decrease the chance of a successful recovery for a professional. The risk is up to you to decide.

I use the software from easeus.com, it works everytime I get that error.
Find the torrent online, meanwhile, do not do anything to your HD.

Yeah sounds like a corrupt FAT which should be recoverable.
