Just coz I'm paranoid due to my last phone getting a crapload of dust under the screen, anybody know anywhere locally I can get a headphone dust cap/plug?
How's the selection of S3 cases at the night market? I know they have a ton of places there but is it all for iPhone?

dont know how battery % works but
if the phone is ON,
the very second the charger is unplugged wouldnt it be 99.9999999%? so im guessing instantly going 100%-->99% should be correct?
i dont really expect any long time battery with this.
My sgs2 drained about 10% per hour of mp3 play.
With LTE and screen usage, i would expect it to drain faster?
I just ordered an extra battery off ebay. (too bad its not like korea where all phones come with a second battery)
along with full body invisible shield and a generic hard rubber case.
anyone else use zagg shield? there would be times id want to carry it without the case and i guess zagg full body shield offers that lil bit more protection when i need it.
anyone have experience with the HD screen protector?
I had this phone for 4 days before returning it. I had the same problems like a lot of you here. The battery life on it sucks. The last night I had the S3, my iphone and the s3 were both at 100% battery life and I unplugged them at the same time. When I woke up in the morning, iphone 100%, s3 91% and the s3 had nothing in it. I had deleted everything off that phone. Good thing I never cancelled Fido.
I'm guessing you have the international version? If so your not alone, a lot of users are experiencing battery problems and it is most likely a cell stanby issue
Mhmm.. I'm on JB and I got owned by cell standby today. It just didn't go into deep sleep and my battery drained super quickly. Although it doesn't happen everyday though, how are you supposed to deal with it? Close apps and restart?

This way is pretty safe and shouldn't screw up your phone.

More on this Root Method
This root method simply installs ClockworkMod Recovery to the recovery partition and installs Superuser zip file, very safe to do. With Galaxy S2, recovery partition was part of the kernel and was a bit dangerous but with Galaxy S3, Samsung has made recovery parition separate from the kernel, making it much safer just like how Galaxy Nexus works.

Yeah im having standby battery problems... i fully charged it last night while sleeping, woke up at 2 am to see thr green light, so i unplugged.
At 10am i woke up and its down to 22% o___o...
Rebooted my phone and now charging it again, hope it doesnt happen again
EDIT: well, rebooting seemed to fix that problem. the battery power seems healthy now!
weird thing is, you guys know how as soon as you unplug it from charging, it shows as 99% right?. so an hour later, i checked my unplugged phone, and it went from 99% up to 100%. o____o!! not really complaining since i got more power LOL but confusing xD
