just got home and the phone almost didnt last all day without power saving.
is cell standby 24% really high? My screen is at 36% with about 40% brightness

Maybe you have a bunch of unused functions/applications open at a time that's making it drain like nuts (like wi-fi, bluetooth, etc)? On my phone I always leave power-saving on, regardless of battery power

I've had this phone since release, I upgraded from an s2. No complaints at all yet. As good of a battery life as my s2, if not better. 
Currently using this case and I love it, protects the screen well, and its a replacement to the battery cover so that won't get damaged. Still looking to get an otterbox for when I work in the warehouse.

switch ur phone to gsm/hspa auto mode instead of gsm/hspa/lte auto mode

side note.. maybe a dumb question.. but i'm not too into androids yet.. how do i get the wallpaper in the background to pan left and right?/ like it'll pan left when i go to the left screens and right when i go to the right screens?

^ You'll need to install quick pic and set your wallpaper from there. You also won't get a zoomed in image.

is there an option to just turn on auto correct but disable word prediction? that sh!t is driving me nuts.. or is there any other recommendation aside from the stock samsung keyboard?
