Whose arguing?

Canadian Rider 04-24-2012 06:42 PM

No argument here. Just stating a personal opinion.. though I think surreyboy was taking it to heart.

I was actually wearing my Levi's skinny 511 today and the note fit fine in my front pockets! I've never had any problems fitting the Nexus anywhere at all. The note doesn't fit in SOME places due to its width but it should be fine. I hope haha

i dont know of anyone who has problems fitting a note in their pockets, let alone the s2
i really wonder what pants you wear...no homo

Canadian Rider 04-24-2012 09:33 PM

haha no man .. i personally think skinny jeans are homo.. though I do have bigger thighs so my jeans generally fit tight up top. there's only enough room for one big thing up near the belt region :fullofwin:

!MiKrofT 04-24-2012 10:13 PM

Yeah let's forget about the size. If there were no demand they wouldn't have bothered. I'm sure this will sell like crazy like all the other galaxy series regardless.

asian_XL 04-25-2012 03:27 AM

It is crazy in Asia, but the resale and market price sucks for this model, u can grab one in hong kong for 500cdn nowadays

m3thods 04-25-2012 09:30 PM

Looks like we know for sure what's powering it. Looks delicious.

Samsung announces 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad as basis for Galaxy S3 -- Engadget :ahwow:

twitchyzero 04-25-2012 09:50 PM

:sweetjesus:

i'm just surprised desktop processors are 22nm and 28nm while mobile versions are actually slightly bigger

MarkyMark 04-25-2012 09:50 PM

Will that work with LTE or are we going to get a dual core version like what happened with the One X?

ime2006 04-25-2012 09:57 PM

Oh man.......Why is it so friggin UGLY !?!?!?!?!?!? :fulloffuck:

!MiKrofT 04-25-2012 10:20 PM

That should be just a mule/dummy housing. The housing will be different on official release.

Samsung has also just confirmed that it's exynos quad core.

ae101 04-25-2012 10:43 PM

im wondering if i should just take meizu mx or just wait for the sgs3

Razor Ramon HG 04-25-2012 11:27 PM

With technology the way it is right now, I'm pretty happy with my S2. Like someone said earlier, they should focus on getting better battery life!

asian_XL 04-26-2012 04:27 AM

^ I prefer they improve the storage write/read speed and add usb3.0...yes, I am a storage whore.

twitchyzero 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

storage speed won't be a priority with cloud services becoming mainstream

I agree improving battery life should be each mfg's priority at this point...more ram after LTE becomes standard wouldn't hurt either but gonna be costly.

looks like it's gonna be the case, disappointing if it's true.
Unless the screen is HD SAMOLED Plus..i feel bad for those that skipped the nexus holding out for this phone

Could this be the most anticipated and talked-about Android of 2012? A new picture has arrived online that puts all the other so-called leaked images of Samsung’s “Next Galaxy” to shame. PhoneArena has scored what looks to be the real deal Galaxy S III, unfortunately there’s no confirmation but that will happen on May 3rd.

As for the device, vanished is the fake dummy casing of previous pictures, and present is a very Galaxy Nexus looking GS III. It has the curved edges, big display and the rumoured physical home key, along with back and menu capacitive buttons. Of course, various specs have been rumoured about this device, such as it being 7mm thin, have a 4.7-inch HD display resolution of 1280×720, 1GB of RAM, 12MP camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. There’s a certainty in all this fogginess though, Samsung stated a couple days ago that the GS III will be powered by a 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor.

That's starting to look more like it. Nice that the screen goes almost to the edge compared to the Galaxy Nexus. Too bad NA is only getting the dual core and not the international quad core. Hope that just applies to US and that we get the international quad version.

twitchyzero 04-27-2012 11:48 AM

still including physical AND capacitive buttons? Sort of goes against the whole point of ICS soft keys?

ya right. We will get what the us is getting for sure.

Why can't the exynos chip pair with lte anyways?

!MiKrofT 04-27-2012 02:14 PM

Who knows. Might be a limitation of the chipset+time constraint for release. Tegra3 is the same thing. It won't handle LTE until later this year with Tegra3+.

terkan 04-27-2012 08:45 PM

or no one bother to look too much into the LTE issue with the chip as it's really only north america that uses LTE vs the world
