After a few minutes into the movie, I feel like putting my tinfoil hat. Then I Googled this movie for a summary, and found this one: Thrive Debunked
EDIT: I also saw on IMDB that David Icke was in the credits. That guy is cray. He's a hack that references previous books he's written as a source, and believes there's a reptillian race running the world.
The first part with the aliens was kinda nuts and made the whole thing seem fake but after that it gets better too bad they ruined it with a shitty start.

EDIT: Forgot this:
David Icke is so obviously someone who specializes in disinformation. I avoid his stuff like the plague.
The sad thing is that his kind of disinformation works. That is, he mixes into his repertoire topics that are important (i.e. inconsistencies in the 9/11 official story) with god-aweful fiction such as his theories on reptiles controlling the planet and a lot of not-very-critial people really buy into it.

a lot of the theories in this documentary are pretty out there, especially with the aliens and all that...
but what really hit me was the following issues brought up in this documentary:
1) "new energy"
Just like how they first killed the "electric car" this is the same or similar. Because of this so called "new energy" cannot be measured, companies or corporations cannot continually gain "money". As a result, they lose money and power. and As a result of that, such inventions are greatly discouraged or killed off.
This is closely related to some promising research regarding promising cure or treatment for cancer. (it was on the news and a type of drug was first discovered by University of Alberta. that's the only one I know of, but I'm sure there's many others out there)
I don't much knowledge about medicine, but from my understand, if the drug cannot be patented, companies can not make a profit out of it. This is one issue that I am concerned about. Drugs like this should have more regconition and if companies will not spend money on research and testing, the government should do something about it. Think about how much money the medicine companies would lose because of a medicine like this? I just can't accept the fact that just because something is not profitable (in this case is health related and it can possibly help a lot of people's suffer), no one or government is standing up and support these researches.
2) the "money system"
This so call "fair trade" or money system can be easily manipulated by the higher authorities. There are too many legal manipulation the government or the head of the bank can do to to save themselves but screw the rest of the population. They have too much power. These corporations have too much power over everything.
I'm not saying everything in this documentary is correct; however, some of the issue brought up by them does and will affect OUR future. Some of the problems this documentary had brought up had already happened or happening or progressing. Don't take in everything that's in this documentary, process it and make your own judgements.
These issues like I've said before does and will affect OUR future. My question is what can WE do to help our society to be a better place for everyone?
To not believe at all is ignorant.
To believe is gullible.
Just keep an open mind, although not many people know what that means.
Just be careful it isn't so open, your brain falls out.

Wait, isn't the guy in that video the same guy who told us about the "cycles" of earthquakes on the Ring of Fire and we supposed to get ours three months after the big Japan quake, or something?

Any medicine that completely cures a disease will be a loss in business. They don't want you to be completely heal, or completely healthy. They want you to have a long term disease where you continue to pay to treat.
Why not ban cigarettes then? Why not ban or restrict alcohol use? Government are pocketing a lot of tax dollars just from these two substances.
