Those figures were back in the year 2000 from what I've dug up on google and since then the overhead costs have been risen. That's why in family clinics you see multiple doctors running the clinic, so that their expenses are shared. In reality they don't take home as much as you think or see, don't forget about taxes too which isn't included in their overhead expenses.

Meh, I have no problem with surgeons making decent amount of dough, but a lot of family doctors are fucking useless and I'm sure a lot of people would concur.

my doc only makes like 150k or 300k (no sure which one he is on there, common name lol). BUT he OWNS the entire walk-in clinic and it's his business...so he must be making some serious cash on top of this!

233k here before overhead, been my family doctor since I was born, still at her clinic everyday 8-5, hospital emergencies, and all sorts of shit. Well deserved, imo.
