couple's phone plan vs 2 single retention plan?

Anyone have couples/family plan from rogers? My wife and I are both on separate retention plan that are 30dollars unlimited everything (almost) except no data plan.

Is couple plan not worth it?, I talked to the rogers rep, it seems to me share plan is not as good as our currently singles plan and also much more expensive.

Our contract will be up in a couple month, I heard rogers dont do the cheap retention plans anymore, is that true?

Our phone bills are 70$ including tax, in order to get new phones like galaxy note or HTC one X, we will both need to sign up contracts again....

My question : Is couples/family share plan a bad move?

Retention plans will almost always be better than in-market plans.
