Getting your car auctioned off is better than getting it crushed like they do it in other jurisdictions.

Anyone who understands concrete and road construction wouldn't dare go over 120 on HWY #1, it is by far the shittiest road conditions for a highway EVER, These kids are either really stupid or brave to go that fast. I agree with excessive speeding, but in an 80 zone, I dont think someone going 120 should receive the same penalty as someone going 265. Crush that car infront of him PLEASE
It isn't clear yet whether these are your stereotypical "rich China kids" as ethnicity nor age have yet been mentioned. I find it unlikely that the drivers were China kids -- these people were at a birthday late on a Thursday night, and I doubt any of the China kids have friends that live anywhere near past Surrey.

that's before the RCMP has Air One.

It is stupid to compare Canada with Germany on 2 things, 1 their licensing is stricter, 2 the cars require annual mechanical safety checks that makes our MVA / VI looks like child's play.. eg tire / alignment checks every year, most repairs must be signoff by certified mechanics, parts must be TUV labelled etc. Our Aircare system is nothing compare with most country outside North America. Just because of that it ensures cars can mechanically handle the speed without causing issues.

As for reporters not releasing the names, it is the weekend, the courts are not open.. just wait till everything gets entered into the court system we can even look it up ourselves.

I remember a few years ago near SFU the police gave up a chase on a Ferrari because it was going too fast.

You got balls to reach 265km, but you couldn't out run a cop. That's sad and you just suck.

Some comments posted on news1130.com in response to the news about the Aston and R8 speeding. A dude with the fictitious name "Kareem Somyunguy".

Aston Martin clocked at over 260 km/hr in Chilliwack - News1130

Here is the article reader's comments:

Went through this

I reside in Richmond, and my parents bought me a new Aston Martin last year because i mowed the grass every weekend during the summer. Even though I am 16, I took a training course in order to drive this car. Very powerful, but I could never go as fast as this car is capable. I'm responsible. Because I got good grades this year in high school, I will be trading my Martin in for a Ferrari f40. Now even though his car can go 275 plus mph...I will still drive responsible.

I wish I got a new car for mowing lawns every weekend in the summer.

LOL

These fellas should have their licenses revoked for like 5 years. No respect=no privileges. They'll live fine with their buttler driving them around in the rolls... all of my jelly....

brb... trying to top out your car at Mission.... crash at end of track
