Parents don't know... Ignorance is bliss and I don't want to put them through the thought of me getting hurt everytime I'm on the saddle :P

well if we told u to get a 250, u would still want a 600. Go for it, dont let your ego get to you tho. Once it does, you might drop it. But first take a PRS course

I took course riding the rebel 250's, bought a cbr600rr after passing my MSA.
I've not no problem with the 600, feeling very confident on it

buy it with your OWN money..problem solved.
My mother was always against it..when it was living off them..
then i got a job..and saved up...and bought one..
They can't say shit if you use your own money..and demostrate you are a safe rider.
Invite them to tail you ..and see how safe you are.

and take PRS course...at least they know their boy is learning how to ride properly.

Despite what I said in the other thread, you will ultimately want a 600. You can skip the bullshit and jump on to one. Just make sure you respect the bike for what it is.

Don't underestimate the "need for speed".

Once you think you're "comfortable" you'll start pushing the limits. This isn't a sports car that gets you around, this is a tool people use to go fast for good reason. Everyone who rides speeds, it is pretty much the law.

I didn't think I'd speed when I got my F4i...a few weeks later, I'm speeding everywhere lol.

I finally got a ticket and cut down the speeding but there is no replacement for the rush when you accelerate the shit out of the bike

My speedometer is a little lazy.

I blasted past a bus on Powell going 90km/h and I didn't even know. /feeslgoodman

Bike vlogs?

All you need to watch is "Faster", "Fastest", and "The Doctor, The Tornado & The Kentucky Kid" and various Isle of Man TT documentaries.

That will get your blood going.

Oh and this:

I didn't tell my mom, brought home a Gixxer. She was kinda pissed but then I showed that I was responsible by paying for lessons before riding it and learned my self.

She is scared everytime I go out but she has accepted it and just hope I am responsible.

Mom said no, Dad said yes, so its cool.

Gf just bought a bike a month ago and both parents said no, but she got it anyways. She was responsible enough to take PRS, get gear, etc. She loves her bike, but already feels like its too slow (Ninja 250R). I would NEVER go for anything less than 600. Just be responsible, you'll be fine. Heck, doesn't matter if your on a go kart, 125, 250, 600, 1000cc, you could still hurt yourself if your being a dumbass
