NAB 2012

Alright so it's NAB time again. I know there's a few members who's into cinematography/Video etc etc. Ton's of new stuff. Majority of the stuff is about 4K. Mostly new Camera systems etc etc. At the moment there are a few things that spark my interest. I'll let the videos speak for themselves!

Firstly, Zeiss released a bunch of new glass (CP.2) (I'll never be able to afford). A zoom lens, a few new primes and their new SUPER speed line. T1.5!!!

Second, Zacuto being a household name for the interchangeable lens camera market has released some new rigs/accessories/parts. Mainly their new Recoil system(mainly for the C300/500). This one definitely looks great but I still prefer the Scorpion system they released last year.

Third, you have JAG35 throwing out some pretty moderately priced items and systems for the lighter wallet people. Pretty cool stuff!

Ofcourse there's over hundreds of stuff at NAB. RED showing their crazy 4K projector along with the RED Dragon 6K sensor. 6k EPIC and Scarlet anyone? The Canon ID-C, C500 and Sony showing off their FS700. Oh and one more thing, Black Magic studios has introduced a 2.5K sensor Camera that has touch screen etc etc all the bells and whistles for just under 3,000.

All of this can be found at sites like Engadget, DSLR News shooter, etc etc. I'll post some more stuff that interest me when it becomes available. Quite stoked!!!
