Dyno'd it for some baseline numbers. It's AWD but has a selector to make it FWD for dynoing.

Moar info on how it did: http://www.revscene.net/forums/68177...celica-rc.html

Took my step daughter for a ride.

She calls it the silver rocket ... But I think maybe the silver crib might be better

Will be tuning and farting around with my cold charge pipe again as it blasted off at 32 psi and 140kmh the other night no the highway at about 1/2 throttle. Honestly thought something detonated...

Yay boosted cars.

Research, research and more research.

Doing the fab and install is the easy part a lot of the time, when you finally know what direction you're going.

Installed the Blackvue DR650 dash camera front/rear and the power magic pro to enable parking mode.

Thanks to Alex at blackboxmycar.com for hooking me up and the excellent customer service!

went to a mechanic to get work done on the suspension. afterwards the car was farmed out to local alignment shop that is well known here, and they screwed it up. original mechanic ended up having to take it back and fix it his own dime and time even though it was not his fault after the alignment shop said they did no wrong. total time elapsed: half a month.

Which shops?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to know who to avoid and who actually fixes jobs they outsource.

Took some of your guys' advice on the bike rack, ended up with this.

Will post better photos tomorrow. I ended up installing this right after I brought it home which went deep into the night. Wanted to test fit it and everything like a kid on Christmas. Please disregard the Snapchat/Instagram filters :|

Boost gauge in. I had some little scrap pieces of the gold tape left over from wrapping my intake and noted the heater in the TT is quite strong so I threw some on the back of the vent gauge for some extra piece of mind. I wired it to an ignition activated 12V fuse. The gauge was designed to look like oem so I wired it up to the stock dash dimmer and the brightness matches whatever the cluster is doing.

Looks like an AWE Tuning unit! Great choice on the gauge and good install!

Replaced an HID ballast I thought was dead, only to find out after installing the new ballast, the bulb still did not light up, and that it was actually just a loose wire inside one of the connections causing the one side not to light up

Oh well I now have a spare ballast I guess

Yup, it's an AWE gauge, and thanks! I was anxious that it might be too small since it uses decent sized cutouts to keep the vent functional, and because my eyes aren't great, but it was fine on my test drive around dusk.

Garage 5, $90 for the pair, if you want the wiring harness to make both work that's a bit more
