Prying the 370z headlight was a bitch, because my headlight didn't fit in my oven and we had to reheat it like 3 times before being able to pry the whole thing apart. There are a lot of DIYs out there, though there isn't much to it other than taking apart all the screws, baking it, then just prying it and cutting the sealant with a flat head or something

Baking process.. Took us a good 4 hours with baking it multiple times and prying for the 370z headlight. 350z headlight took less than an hour for both >_>

Finished swapping out the OEM lens today with a clear sti-r lens from theretrofitsource, not bad for $50! Cut off looks a bit narrow because I was only a few feet away from the wall I shot it on

Painted my housing a matte gunmetal color with a slight hint of flakes in the paint. Wanted a darker color but didn't have many high temp paint choices. At the same time didn't want it too dark because I dislike the look of a black headlight on a black car, so I guess this turned out okay. No more chrome

Spent 2 hours sitting and removing leftover adhesive from the door trim, one side only. Used a combo of adhesive remover spray, paper towels, bondo applicators and fingernails lol. Such a pain in the ass.

Before:

After:

Still got the other side to do, and get rid of the leftover glue on the trim pieces themselves. Fuark.

Go get an eraser wheel from Canadian tire, will go on any drill and they're like 10 bucks. If can tire doesn't have it Lordco will. You can strip the other side in about 5 minutes and wont affect the paint.

hmm lets see. i made new 1/4" lexan door cards, installed vents into my quarter windows. bought a new horn button and an nrg 2.5 quick release and installed it. stripped my interior, installed my new fixed back. picked up a 30m roll of vinyl and started wrapping the fender flares and trunk.

*still have protective film on them in the pic*

and the whole time, one of my cats kept giving me the stink eye. pretty sure he was trying to make my head explode via the force.

New euro front lip, yellow bulbs, and a new grill to replace my old scratched up one. Also, although Monty was quite frustrated about the shipping process by ups, he approved of ECS packing job.
