2 men - one is black and one is asian

1st - 5.7" - 6.1" black hoodie, dark gray jeans... definitely a black guy because he looks threatening.
2nd - i think is a male driver.. he is asian and i have seen buy several condos all over the lower mainland to make profit off
get away-4th gen black Honda Accord w/ steelies. with a big china flag on the hood

that thief was trying to pry open the cap on a cavalier... both men who is easily identified because of their stereotype race then went up to my gf, asked for the time, when she took her iphone out, they took it from her and drove away...
heads up! park your car in your garage IF u can! Given the mainlander population in that area, I should have known better.
Next time, have the passenger dash towards the parking stall and have him or her stand in the middle. As that is the only way to secure a parking stall in richmond(china).

it's no surprise this is going on regularly now with gas prices going higher and higher

honestly i'd be way more pissed about the thieves undoubtedly fucking up my car and scratching/denting the fuck out of the quarter panel and gas door trying to pry my gas door open than $20-30 of stolen gas

if you don't have a garage (seems like most people don't nowadays, and if they do, their parents park in it), go to canadian tire and invest in one of those locking gas caps. at least you save yourself from having your gas stolen. but you won't save yourself from getting your car fucked up from people who don't know you have a locking gas cap

I really wish use of deadly force was legal in burglaries. I'd leave valuables in my car with the doors unlocked, and wait at the window with a high powered hunting rifle + laser scope for weekend kicks.

We've had an issue with gas thieves at my work for a couple years now. Luckily we have a cage for our vehicles. But every now and then the cage doesn't get locked or we have to park in the parking lot out front. We try our best to keep the tanks less then half full so that we don't lose money. We tried locking gas caps but they cut the tube that goes from the cap to the tank, and if we don't realize they've done this and we go to fill it up we get fuel all over the friggen place. The building owner is too cheap to put up cameras, and now we got full access to the caged area so we leave it alone. One time I guess the fuel thieves messed up and dumped the fuel all over the parking lot. We had to call the fire department to clean it all up. Just thought I'd share that this is a pretty big issue in industrial areas as well.
