We Riot, They Chant out Racial Slurs... Washington Capitals player Joel Ward scored a game-winning goal in overtime to take Washington Capitals over the Boston Bruins in the seventh game of the first round of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Shortly after, Bruins fans build a shit-storm of comments so disgusting and appalling it makes me furious. A complete 360 turn -- going from a city of NHL Champion city to a disgusting city composed of lowlives and racists. See for yourself: Chirpstory - Bruins Fans Calling Joel Ward The N-Word |
someone needs to get Tim Thomas away from the computer... |
can't be worst than canucks fans calling tim thomas a faggot |
Quote:
If Tim was gay, you might have a point. But in this case, it's just rude fans using a bad word. In the case of Ward, it is horrible racist bullshit. |

Sure some could argue it's still bad, but NO ONE in their right mind would say that it's EQUALLY as bad! |
Massachusetts has always been rather racist so its no surprise |
mehhh deal with it it happens everyday in pro sports in the US...especially in MASS since theres so many teams to root for. The most successful state for Major League champions in the last 10 years |
I'm not surprised at all, just shows their true colors. I watched the game and i am so happy Washington Capitals won. |

Yeah, cus u dumb, brah. |
I will say, this is pretty much relevant because all of ya'll still bitter over the loss Listening to callers after Joel Ward score and having MOJ tell off everyone was fucking hilarious |
a lot of those are just trolling comments. |
thomas is gonna blame barrack obama for them losing |
Everytime I see a racist comment on youtube now I'll imagine it's written from the fine people of boston. |
i know a pro-player is suppose be professional about this but this is just wrong, to making things worst u have todays rap artist thinking they can rap & randomly slot it the N word in every other line or so making ppl think its ok now to used this word now (shame) |

This really isn't a Boston thing only, happens in most sporting arenas, I've heard fans in Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal yell nigger at Iglina, Kane and Stewart before. |
Montreal's Subban was subject to this crap also... its the world we live in, racism is alive and well....you dont have to look far to find it. |
I find it's funny that a black player scored on Thomas, given all the controversy around him |
um its boston....have u never seen an affleck or whalberg movie? nothing to do with hockey, has to do with white trash from southie |
And if we went on a window smashing spree yelling "n**gas be hatin'!" we'd be the ultimate hockey town. Hate to break this to everyone, but there are stupid sports fans in EVERY city. |
I am not surprised to hear about these reports of racial slurs from NHL fans. Racism still exists in the world. Heck, some Vancouverites have called me the C-word before. However, I pushed back with a few choice words against those racists. Sometimes I wonder what Jeremy Lin may go through in the NBA. Asians are not immune from racism too. That being said, I think there are good people living in Beantown. A friend of mine, a big Irish guy who is from Boston, said that he "loves black women." He even said that it's true that "once you go black, you don't go back." He's looking forward to a business trip to the Caribbean because he'll get to check out the Caribbean ladies there. He loves Rihanna! :hotbaby: My friend is such a big Bruins fan, that even wears Rat Face Marchand's T shirt during his gym workouts. I'll tease him about his bad news Bruins losing to the Caps the next time I see him at the gym. |
