BC Championship - Drive the new FR-S!

The 2012 BC Autoslalom Championship is being held June 22-24th on the newly expanded 10 acre Pitt Meadows skidpad. This year's BC Champs will start with test and tune on Friday, competition and fun runs on Saturday and will end Sunday with the final day of competition and the weekend highlight - the 'Scion FR-S Equalizer'. All drivers will be given a chance to drive a new Scion FR-S, with top times winning prizes.

Registration is open at www.bcchamps.ca, with an early bird rate of $95 until June 1st. The Ramada Inn is holding rooms at a special rate of $99 (standard room) and $109 (kitchenette) until May 23 - info can be found at www.bcchamps.ca/location/accommodation

Trophies will be awarded to top novice, top PAX, and for all group winners. There will be many other door prizes and cash prizes for drivers. Your entry includes the event t-shirt, free appies at the Saturday afternoon pub social, and entries into all the prize draws. The Lions Club of Maple Ridge will be serving food and refreshments on both Saturday and Sunday. Money raised through food sales will go to support camps for kids.

This event is the first in the three event Western Canadian Slalom Tour that includes a two-day event at Namao Airforce base in Edmonton (July 14-15) and the Super Slalom Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon (Aug 31 - Sept 2). This three city tour celebrates 50 years of ASN in Canada and highlights some of the best venues in Western Canada.
