Hmmm what if this is just a scam to get thanks? :suspicious::considered: |
For the record, I would like to fail your post twice. First to show that I would not pay to see your dumb car show and second because this post is such an epic fail. Mark |
ok dis regard the thank....... just post a 1+ if u are down |
Maybe DTP will make a comeback this year now that BC Place is up and running again? |
the shows here are completely backwards to what they should be, either make it a party with chicks and booze everywhere, or make it so the cars are actually raced and not show-only, with 50 tv's in there. in Van, our shows consist of, no booze, no girls, lots of TV's. it fucking sucks |
^ too mild for the van car scene i guess? then again if its wild, more popos on our ass about it. it only take one idiot to ruin it all like every year (something besides burn outs) |

which show u went to that has booze and girls dancing around ? to find booze n girls..y dont u go to gossip or pop opera ??? a car show is to show case what car ppl have done to their ride not a huge party |
1+ |
-1 no no |
Sad truth is that most of these shows LOSE more money than anything. Then you have to make sure the vendors and shops are treated correctly. In most cases, the turnout will suck and everything shits the bed. This isn't like a Comic Con in which it could be a family event and where more people will turn up. Do people really care for these shows? Thats the real question to ask Will I go? sure, if I get press pass like DTP last year |
you got a press pass last year? they wouldn't even give us a pass =( |
omg is Arash is back ? "Desperate"?....:okay: |
I've already got a giant ass car show in my town every year. It's the Langley Cruise-In. :fullofwin: |
i doubt any big car show in town will only cost $5 |
car shows are so 1990's bro |
The police will give you plenty of +1s and have VI checkpoints outside the venue. |
Actually to be honest, I quite like RS mini meets. :D |

when I went to HIN few years, there were porn stars, and DJ's and even lil john showed up and performed, and the crowd was fuckin nuts! There was even a bikini contest. And the place was completely packed and sold out, whereas our shows lose tons of money and cant get any reasonable celebraties or import models and no one shows up, get the difference? why would I pay 20 dollars to see cars that i've already seen at an RS meet? Id rather pay 20 bucks to see them in a drifting, drag, road course event, or pay 20 bucks to have a massive party where all those TV's and subwoofers can be put to some use. fuck, id even pay 50 bucks if the summer RS meet was at mission, and we had the track reserved all day for us, thatd be way better! |
Holy fuck I'd pay $50 to have a track meet at Mission! |
+1 ^ |
Wayy too expensive and not available on weekends. Quote:

Wow. |
So..... $10,000 revscene meet? |
$10,000 Revscene meet or we could just have a meet on a regular street legal night and pay the standard admission rates. I'd feel bad for the dedicated racers on a night where a group of RSers came out and destroyed the track, but ultimately there's nothing preventing a meet on a street legal night. There would be more, and better, cars to watch run down the strip as well. Quote:
