Disputing speeding ticket from other parts of BC

When you get a speeding ticket from other part of BC, such as up north. If you dispute the ticket do you have to go to a court near where the offense occurred? Or can you do it at your local court?

Dispute the VT as indicated on the back of your blue copy and they will tell you the court location where your trial will be held.

Better yet, engage cruise control when outside of your home city

Won't you be glad when they bring in the ability to dispute by phone!
