Witness Needed May17th

Hey guys, i'm looking for any witnesses for a rear end accident on May17th.
Accident happened on Hastings / Ingleton Ave. at 8AM.

I was driving a black 2012 Mazda 3
Car behind was a mid 90's black civic.
The part I'm really interested in is the car in front.

There was a current gen White Ford Fusion that cut in front of me to get around the bus and stomped on the brakes.
I have a witness that said the white fusion was the one that probably caused the collision.
ICBC told me that if I find the plate of the car, we can get him involved.

If anyone here saw the accident and has a plate of the car or any information, please feel free to pm me.

Thanks for the help RS!

last time that happened to me (i was the one who rear ended someone) because they got cut off by someone else, icbc told me to basically fuck off and that if the guy in front of you could stop, you should be able to stop as well unless you were tail gating or not paying attention. i even got the plate and information of the guy who cut the lady in front of me off (he ended up rear ending someone just in front of him right after that) and the lady even told icbc that he caused both accidents and they did nothing for me so im surprised they said they would get him involved.

This is what I thought initially, thought they would just say "ya well it's still his fault so doesn't matter" but before I could say if I got the plate or not, she said "well if you get the plate or see him again definetely let us know so we can get him involved".
I guess it depends on the person you get on the other side.
On a side note, I wonder if the guy that rear ended me is on rs, nice guy and had a semi-stock civic.
Wish I had a camera, been meaning to get one installed.

Wait, I'm not understanding.

Did the black civic rear end you, or did you rear end the white fusion, or a 3 way rear end?

If the white car cut you off and stomped on the breaks, but you didn't hit him,
then you should be 100% clear, and the black civic will be at fault for not keeping a safe distance and hitting you.

Or are you just trying to be a good samaritan and help the black civic driver, in helping him put blame on the real culprit,
the white fusion driver, who started all this?

But either way, you should be safe from fault regardless.

the white fusion cut in front and stomped on the brakes.
i didn't hit him, but the black civic behind me hit me.
i'm just pissed that an almost new car already has a claim on it and that the fucker in the fusion was driving like a douche before hand anyways.

I'm just trying to help him out a bit, i realize it won't make much of a difference in this case.

Yes......that's why 15 and under is a cheaper alternative.

Hopefully the damage isn't too severe, where ICBC wouldn't waste time to investigate and monitor you. Because if they do find out, insurance would be void.

Yeah but its a little too late now cause the accident happened when you still had it under 15km.

Should probably delete some of these postings, just in case - but yeah, you should be fine, the civic rear ended you.

Call up your insurance agent.

If I were you I'd wait a couple weeks until after this whole thing is clear, just cause if you do it right away they might jump on that as suspicious and investigate you further.

If you just keep your cool and tell them that you only drive more than 15 km one day a week like you said you got a good chance they won't bother furthermore looking.

maybe icbc would do 50/50 for both parties in front and behind you to increase the premiums on both parties and make more money. i hate icbc
