I'm new to automotive maintenance but I recently purchased a new 2007 Hyundai Sonata. Unfortunately, I have some clearcoat peeling on the driver side door that is quite noticeable.
I want to get this fixed. I've heard my only option is to get the entire door repainted and re-clear coated. Is this my only option? If so what sort of price should I be looking to pay for this? And can anybody recommend any places? Or should I just bring it to a Hyundai dealership?
I'd rather have a cheaper option as well but from what I've tried researching, outside of having it repainted, any other measure would be temporary and the problem would reappear again.
I'd rather pay for it to get it fixed once and for all.
