Is this kinda dangerous?

I heard if you eat this in a wrong way, you possibly can choke to death when the octopus's suctions stick to your mouth/throat, correct? I think this was on 1000 ways to die show.

^ Yes, there were odd incidents where the octopus killed the human clinging on to the throat. I have experienced this danger when I was an elementary kid; my dad put his fingers in my throat and pulled the tiny octopus out. Never again do I eat live octopus, but there are many pros who enjoy this.

Why would you eat it live? Just kill it then put it in ur mouth I'm pretty sure it would taste the same.
