Best bmw/audi dealer?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to take a look at the new 328/335 or an s4, so does anyone know good dealers? I've read a few threads and basically they say to stay away from Brian Jessel and go to northshore or the bmw store downtown?

I went to the BJ near boundary... was ignored and I went to the audi in richmond auto mall and i was also ignored .

So if anyone could give me some guidance, that'd be great! thanks

Yup, talk to Ray @ autowest, he'll give you a good deal. Openroad Audi is also good to deal with.

you can try emailing them first to set up an appointment, i find that helps more then just walking into the store. If you call or email them first, you are more of a potential buyer then just a walk in.

Autowest BMW is generally quite well, and I'd recommend Openroad audi, if not then Capilano. Richmond Audi is shit except for the receptionist.

You could try out BMW Langley. Not sure where you live, but the new facility is worth the drive.

usually it's the sales rep that makes or breaks the reputation of a car dealership. That said, there are always good/bad sales rep at every dealership.

I've had nothing but great experiences at Brian Jessel, bought two cars there and did some services. Had my car in at Autowest once for service, they ripped the carpet lining on my trunk.

+1 for the BMW Store on Burrard. A friend bought his 328i from that dealership.

Openroad is good, and Capilano is a decent second choice.

The problem with walking into places like BJ and Richmond, you need to look the part. If you're just a young kid wandering around the lot, chances are they'll just ignore you. You need to go up to reception and ask to talk to someone.

I got my 750i a few weeks ago from BJ and the sales guy (khan) was very helpful and gave me a smoking deal. My Audi A5 is from Openroad Audi and the guy I deal with their is Josh, he's young and he'll workout a good deal for you. The Richmond Audi dealership sucks; I was looking at a Q7 and the sales guy kept mentioning the price like I couldn't read and afford it. When I asked him about the lease and finance rates he said "I can't remember them because most people pay cash", sure bud.

Autowest is also on the top of my list of dealers, my E92 was from there. I have to say their service dept. probably the best out of all the BMW dealers. My first BMW was from BMW store but I haven't dealt with them for years but my experience with their service dept. was excellent as well.

Avoid Maxim from the Richmond Automall Audi. He BS'd me quite a bit when I was looking for a new car. I mentioned to my girlfriend Audi maintenance being fairly expensive and he told my girlfriend that wasn't true, the A4 maintenance costs were on par with a Toyota Highlander.

He compared a 4 dour sedan's maintenance costs with a freakin' Toyota SUVs! I went to the BMW Store instead and I'll never go back to that guy.

Looking at an A4/S4 for my next vehicle too. I've asked around and shopped around, and the results are pretty unanimous from everyone I ask, and what people here seem to be responding.

Autowest/Open Road are the ones you want to go to, and stay away from Richmond Audi/BMW. As a personal rule of thumb, I now don't even bother going to any of the Richmond dealerships anymore. They are all very judgemental and condescending.

Even at Acura, I was looking at a new TSX/TL, I asked about lease rates and the salesman was like "you don't need to lease an Acura, you should just buy it." Thanks, financial advisor..

I had a bad experience at Autowest. Looked around for a good 20 minutes, and nobody asked if we needed help. No hello, not even a glance.

Hey PJ, could you give me some clarification on the S4? A salesmen told me the transmission is not dual clutch, but wikipedia says it is and the website says it is tiptronic (a quick google search shows that its dual clutch...)

and what made you decide on an A/S 4 over a 328/335i?
