Hoping to get clearer shots on Saturday for Italy, my friend will be bringing a DSLR.
Also going to try filming it all with a GoPro.
Hello downtown! Photos don't do justice, believe me. (Especially cell phone pics lol) | Where did you watch from?

You can go on helicopter tours of the fireworks. I personally don't like it, because fireworks are designed to be seen from the ground. It is a unique perspective though.

Will be at Spanish Banks for tomorrow's show. Hopefully the drive home will be quicker and will consist of less idiots than last Saturday.

How is the view from Coal Harbour? Is there a pretty good view of everything or are you blocked by some buildings?

Italy wasnt bad.
Traffic was retarded though, no parking anywhere, basically ran to our car after show ended to get home before the jams started.
I at the people stopping on Cornwall Ave in their cars to watch the show.

Parking was non-existent. I parked at Balsam & W. 8th approx. That was the only spot I could find.
Italy had some cool pyrotechnics, but there were a few too many lulls in the performance, I felt.

inescapable tight squeeze of a parallel park
Fireworks would not be fireworks without the PITA of a struggle getting home, be it driving or public transit.. when I went on Wednesday I waited for four buses that were all full, then I just said 'fuck it, let's take a cab' |

We found a church somewhere up Larch that had someone with a sign saying min.5$ donation. Donated 10$ to some private charity and we were good to go.

Brazil > Italy > Vietnam in my opinion. Brazil had better combos, although Italy had more familiar music and some unique moments |

Italy's was by far the most creative. The crowd at English Bay totally loved Italy's.
